"After interviewing several builders, we had the good fortune of meeting Bob Thomson, of Bob Thomson Construction. He made our dream of having a custom home a reality. The architectural plans from our architect were less than what we had expected, and Bob had to fill in many blanks. With the breadth of his experience, he made the process feel easy with his confident, optimistic, can-do nothing-seemed-impossible attitude. He was able to understand our style and anticipate our concerns and wishes. By the end of the project, he could almost read our minds. His experience, ingenuity and creativity allowed us to do things with our home that other builders and architects said were not possible. He suggested so many things that were inexpensive but added so much value to the home; snow melt system, extension of the deck, mezzanine, and on and on. I can without reservation say that due to his experience and ingenuity he saved us 10% in construction cost. He prides himself on saving the client money while improving the quality of construction and value of the amenities. He is without a doubt one of the most honest contractors you will find.
By the time our home was complete, we had the utmost respect and admiration for Bob. He had professional and competent crews and subs. Several years later, we still consider Bob a friend. He continues to be there for us, and we love our home."
